After worshipping together for nearly a year, we were delighted to unite formally with Bristo Memorial Church in November 2022. Both congregations agreed that the new church would be called Richmond Craigmillar Church.
Our new united church is part of a ‘cluster’ with two other Church of Scotland churches nearby, Duddingston Kirk and St. Martin’s, Bingham.
Bristo Memorial Church previously hosted a foodbank. This has now moved to the Thistle Foundation.
St Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church
We also have excellent relations with St Teresa’s, just across Niddrie Mains Road, and sometimes share worship with them, or join together for Lent groups.

Our minister is currently chaplain to these two local primary schools.
Amos Christian Trust
Volunteers from the Amos Christian Trust use one of our rooms each week. They design and make small prayer cards, with a beautiful image on one side and a Bible verse on the other.
Columcille
Columcille offer a range of creative learning activities for adults with learning disabilities.
Capability Scotland
Capability Scotland delivers care, support and education for disabled children and adults across Scotland.
Thistle Foundation
The Thistle Foundation is a health and wellbeing charity, based in Niddrie, which supports people living with long-term conditions across Scotland to live the life they want.
Fare Share
Fare Share is the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and food waste. We work with them through the Cyrenians and our Fair Share Thursday
In Kind Direct
In Kind Direct receives donated goods from companies and distributes them to UK charities to make sure everyone has access to life’s essentials and no usable product goes to waste.
We distribute their goods (mostly toiletries and cleaning products) through our Fair Share Thursday stalls.
